If the weather ever decides to behave, we may see some heat this summer. Should that happen, there are several fabrics best suited for keeping you cool—cotton, linen, chambray and seersucker for instance. These are breathable fabrics which won’t trap heat like nylon would. Fortunately, there are plenty of options for cotton, linen, chambray and seersucker at the moment. Yay! However, some of you may not be as excited as this means more digging to get the right piece for your wardrobe.
Let’s keep it simple and focus one fabric—linen. We love that linen is breathable, light, comfortable and dries fast when wet. Luckily, linen comes in more than just one color. The most common color (yes, you guessed it), the ubiquitous shade of khaki, does not have to be your only option. Take a look at our recommendations for your wardrobe addition this summer. We’ve already picked up a few for ourselves!
